Food and service were excellent. Beautiful space, especially for a date night or a night out with friends. We had the calamari, Branzino, and filet with sides. All cooked well. The vanilla ice cream was to die for. Honey, salt, and fennel seeds gave this dessert a wonderful edge.

The food, service and ambiance are top notch. Ora is our new favorite restaurant in town. We've been here a few times and they never disappoint from their service to the food they serve!

4 of us went for New Years, it had good reviews on Yelp. It's a 25 minute ride, but luckily all highway and Main Street, so easy to get there. They have valet parking. 5he pace is beautiful, great long bar, so we had a drink at the bar first. We were told to check out the upstairs, it was really cool. There's a dining area, rather not eat there, but the lounge with the bar is a cool, relaxing den type atmosphere. We sat at a nice booth in a roomy, well appointed dining room. The se4vice is here is excellent. We had Maria as are server, a real pro, and the support staff was well trained and didn't miss a thing. We ordered are drinks then a few minutes later Maria came back for our food order. This is a New Year's Eve menu, so it might not be the same. After we order they brought the bread and butter. I love real butter that's room temperature. Sorry this review was from a while ago. We had a great night, food was very good and the decor and atmosphere was really nice. My wife and I love eating and drink at the bar, just th3 two of us, and if it was a bit closer, I would definitely be a regular. Definitely worth checking out

There's definitely a great buzz around Bergen for this new Italian hot spot, Ora. The dining areas are spacious, great design elements throughout and the noise level is just fine for having conversation - nice work on that as this place filled up quite a bit on this wintery Thursday evening. Service is attentive and professional. A slight botch with my "Cigar Box" bourbon but that was corrected quickly. They were also great at accommodating our birthday cake for our friend during dessert (although of course we still took a peek at the dessert menu). Nice variety of well crafted apps, pizzas, entrees and desserts, nice array of by-the-glass and full bottle selections and awesome cocktail ideas! Appetizers consisted of Pt Judith Calamari - great but could have had more peppers, the meatballs (great!) and the prosciutto- very lean! Wood fire Margarita pizza also hit the spot! For dinner, my lamb shank was delicious and plentiful. The mix of flavors and accompaniments paired well. My friend's Orata (like a Bronzino) was white, flaky, and flavorful. My wife and son had the rigatoni, which was also great, and our star for the evening had the pasta with short rib - how can you ever go wrong with that?! Chef Tom Silvestri is on a roll here - the menu preparation is well thought out and all our dishes were great! Can't wait to return soon! Heard from a friend we bumped into at the bar that Ora has some great lunch options as well, for all you River Edge and Oradell folks nearby! Enjoy!!

Ecstatic a modern and decent Italian restaurant opened in Oradell! Adds to the town's aesthetic. My family went there for my mom's birthday dinner, and we all enjoyed our meals. However, the Pt. Judith Calamari ($19) and the Squid Ink Linguini ($34) were the hits of the night. One of the best fried calamari's, and the linguini was so soft and flavorful. My mom got the Swordfish Milanese ($35). Nothing too crazy. It almost just tasted like Parmesan chicken. My husband got the Roasted Half Chicken Scarpariello ($33). He thought it tasted a bit bland, as a chicken lover. To be fair, he prefers stronger flavors like Peruvian Chicken, though. I got the Ravioletti ($32); it was simple and tasteful, but wish the raviolis were slightly bigger. I wanted ricotta cheese to burst in my mouth with every bite, but the raviolis were so tiny... The honeynut squash was enjoyable. With it, I also got a limoncello mocktail ($12; it may have been the Green Goddess). It was super sweet; basically lemonade. Nothing too crazy. Service was okay. There's valet parking available, or you can street park nearby. Borderline 4 stars, but giving them 5 to give them a boost.

Ora exceeded every expectation I had and provided an unforgettable dining experience. Originally we had a 9:30 PM reservation, we arrived early and were accommodated at 8 PM on a busy Friday night which is a true testament to their impeccable service. While we waited we enjoyed drinks in their upstairs lounge which was a cozy library vibe with comfortable seating, mood lighting, and a knowledgeable bartender. Once they called us maybe 20 min later we were seated, we started with the caviar cannoli and octopus small plate. The cannoli's dramatic smoke presentation. The octopus had a burst of flavor in every bite. For entrées I chose the butternut squash raviolette, and my fiancé opted for the swordfish Milanese. Both dishes were nothing short of spectacular.. we savored every bite, leaving not a crumb behind. To end the evening we shared the vanilla gelato with honey and rosemary, topped with a caramel brittle which actually was a perfect harmony of sweetness and sophistication. I was skeptical when we ordered it bc I didn't know how rosemary in gelato would be. Ora impressed us with its thoughtful attention to detail, from presentation to flavor, and we're already planning our next visit when their menu shifts to spring/summer.
